Two Solid Finishes on Twins Night

Travis Motley went into this twins weekend determined not to repeat history.  Bad luck had left Motley with a best finish of 14th on the previous twins night.  However, this weekend would be different for the Justice Brothers #59 team.  Motley qualified 2nd for the first race and scored his first Pole for the second race.  In the first main event, Motley settled into second position, but toward the end of each run, he would close in to the leader's back bumper.  Motley was looking to make a pass for the win with three laps to go when a caution came out.  "Our car wasn't as good at the beginning of each run and the leader would pull out a couple of car lengths, but by the end of the run, we would catch him.  If the race would have stayed green, we may have been able to take the win, but we had to settle for second," said Motley after the first race.  By virtue of the invert, Motley started third for the second race.  He would get stuck in the bottom groove early in the race and slide back to 5th, where he would stay for the remainder of the race.  Motley said, "We made a change after the first race to see if our car would be better, but we went the wrong way.  I am excited for the final points night of twins on Oct. 3rd because I know we stand a good chance of winning both races."
